Cloxacillin sodium is indicated for the treatment of various infections caused by penicillin-resistant Staphylococcus, such as sepsis, respiratory infections, meningitis, and soft tissue infections. It is also effective against mixed infections involving Streptococcus pyogenes or Streptococcus pneumoniae with penicillin-resistant Staphylococcus.
